The History Center presents a 3-day workshop for those interested in learning or improving their skills in first and third-person interpretation. Intended for those new (or new-ish) to historic interpretation, this workshop will cover:

  • Interpretive fundamentals
  • Common approaches, methods, and “tricks of the trade”
  • Authenticity and sourcing for props and clothing
  • Public (and other) mediums of interaction
  • Character & script development for first person interpretation
  • Research-based presentation techniques for third person interpretation

Cost is $150 for the three-day workshop; there will be a one-hour lunch break each day (lunch on your own). Space is limited so please register today!
