The Northeast Georgia History Center is offering a series of fun and interactive virtual summer camps for elementary school to middle school age kids. Young historians will learn from hands-on activities, interactive livestream lessons and performances, homemade recipes, and more!

Colonial Kids Camp *Registration now closed*
June 29th - July 3rd 2020 10 AM - 1 PM EST
Deadline for Registration: June 19th

Colonial Kids Camp will explore the era of the American Revolution with diverse perspectives including Martha Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, Black Patriots & Loyalists, Native Americans, and more. View the entire schedule at this link.

Frontier Kids Camp
July 13th - July 17th 10 AM - 1 PM EST
Deadline for Registration: July 6th

Frontier Kids Camp will teach students about life on the American frontier through the experiences of historic figures like Lewis & Clark, Sacagawea, the deerskin trade between settlers and Native Americans, author Laura Ingalls Wilder, and the differing perspectives of Native Americans affected by the Indian Removal Act.

Young Historians Civil War Camp
July 27th - July 31st 10 AM - 1 PM EST
Deadline for Registration: July 20th

This camp will explore life during the American Civil War with perspectives from historic figures like Abraham Lincoln, a formerly enslaved African-American Union Sailor, a woman living in the South affected by the war, Civil War nurses and soldiers, and abolitionists like Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass.

All materials for at-home activities will be shipped to you beforehand.
