Quilts & Coverlets

A brand new exhibit at the History Center highlights quilts, coverlets, and the tools and people that made them.  Exclusively from the museum's own collection, the items have been donated to us to allow us to, as always, preserve and share the history of Northeast Georgia.

The exhibit opens February 7 and will be open until this summer.  The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, but be sure to come to the related programming to learn more about the quilts, coverlets, and craftspeople of this wonderful and unique region.
